Boi Bumbá Garantido won the category of best regional group at the 30th Brazilian Music Award (PMB) with the album “Garantido Por Toda Vida”, on Wednesday night (31), at an event held at the Municipal Theater of Rio de Janeiro (RJ).
The singer Lenine was responsible for delivering the award to the president of Boi Garantido, Antônio Andrade, and to the member of the art commission, Allan Rodrigues.
The award-winning album “Garantido Por Toda Vida” is part of the red and white bumbá arena project, responsible for the soundtrack of the year 2023. The 17 songs will be presented during this year’s Parintins Festival.
The groups Olodum and Quiteto Violado competed with bumbá.
