Manaus (AM) – Closing the carnival season in Manaus, Bloco Curupirado – Inimigos do Fim takes place this Ash Wednesday (14), starting at 5pm, at Olímpico Clube located on Avenida Constantino Nery, West Zone of Manaus. There will be more than 7 hours of show with a repertoire for all audiences.

In total, the event has already received more than 5 thousand revelers and in this 2024 edition, the expectation is that the number will grow even more, says the “curupira mother”, Gabriela Pauchner, organizer of the event and owner of the cultural space Curupira Mãe do Mato , where the block was born.

“Curupirado is an extension of Curupira for revelers who are enemies of
end of Carnival. We promise another diverse edition with an incredible line-up of artists who are highlights in our state, we will have a costume contest, lots of smiles and glitter!”,

The entertainment will be guaranteed with Couro Velho, George Japa, Marcia Novo, Rosivaldo Menestrel and the Metals of Olinda and Antônio Bahia. The block will have special appearances by Travas no Samba, Julio Persil, Márcia Siqueira and Sereias da Panair. In addition, the program features DJs Carol (Pimenta com Sal), CRETIN@ (Socorro Cicarelli), Di Figueiredo (Socorro Cicarelli), JOTAP (Infecta) and QUIEEL (Infecta).

Known as the King of Carnival, Antônio Bahia sponsors the group and promises a show with lots of fun, joy and respect.

Celebrating 20 years of career, Marcia Novo prepared a different carnival repertoire with notable Xuxa songs and current hits. In the so-called “90s block”, the singer will perform classics from the time such as Cazuza, Cássia Eller, Los Hermanos, among others. Everyone in a dancing rhythm to say goodbye to the festivities.
