Banda Leela features partnerships with DJ Chernobyl and Kika Seixas on the English EP ‘Seven stars’

♪ A band from Rio de Janeiro that lives in São Paulo (SP), personified by the figures of vocalist Bianca Jhordão and guitarist Rodrigo O’Reilly Brandão, Leela presents five songs in English – a language absent from the band’s repertoire – on the EP Seven stars. Trip hop lyrics inspired by a poem by the German Charles Bukowski (1920 – 1994), Dirty jokes (Bianca Jhordão, Rodrigo O’Reilly Brandão and Francisco Cabral) opens the EP recorded at the Music Bunker studio, mixed and mastered by Katia Dotto and released yesterday, June 9th, with cover art by Guilherme Dourado. The title song Seven stars is soft rock with a space tone signed by Jhordão and O’Reilly with Kika Seixas, author of the lyrics written in 1988, in New York (USA), and resumed in 2022, after 34 years, when the members of Leela finished the song, recorded with singer Miranda Kassin. Lost in you (Kjell Sandvik, Bianca Jhordão and Rodrigo O’Reilly Brandão) is a track already featured on a single while the other two songs, So what and I want my hipe in money, are partnerships between Jhordão and O’Reilly with Carol Teixeira and DJ Chernobyl.
