Canadian artists brought one of those machines that record our voices, to show that sound produces traces. “Sound stands still in time and we need to move in physical space to hear it”, explains artist Jean-Philippe Côté. A provocation to remember: when we use electronic equipment we can leave our footprints in the digital universe. “That doesn’t mean we shouldn’t use them.
