Toys top the list of the most sought after gifts among Amazonians
Manaus (AM) – Commerce in Amazonas is already preparing for Children’s Day, the next date on which Brazilians take to the streets in search of the best gift. Physical stores should receive the majority of this volume of consumers (64%), according to a recent survey carried out by the TIM Ads platform, which interviewed 2,293 TIM customers in Amazonas.
More than a third of respondents (40%) will give gifts of up to R$100, followed by 24% who will invest up to R$300 and 14% who said they will spend up to R$800. Another 22% will spend more than R$800 with treats.
Toys once again top the list of most searched for, with 40%. Those who will give clothes make up 26% and those who prefer shoes as a gift make up 13%. It’s not just parents who plan to buy treats for their little ones. Children dominate the gift list with 45%, but uncles and aunts are also planning and 27% said they will give gifts to nephews.
Participants point out that the majority of payments will be in cash, with PIX and cash being preferred, with 37% each. While 29% said they will use a debit or credit card.
The celebration will be at home with the family for 31% of Amazonians, while 15% said they will take advantage of the holiday to travel with their family. The traditional shopping trip will be the choice of 15%, and 12% should take their children to amusement parks.
