The public agency launched the main tourist attractions for those who are still on vacation in the capital of Manaus
January is coming to an end and for those who haven’t taken the opportunity to take the children and teenagers out to have fun, the Amazonas State Tourism Company (Amazonastur) highlights programs for the whole family to enjoy the Amazon.
Contemplating nature, venturing into extreme sports, getting to know cultural and artistic spaces are some of the activities that can be done as a family before classes start.
The first tip is for those who love outdoor activities and a lot of adrenaline, EcoForest Adventure offers, in the space located 39 kilometers from Manaus, on the BR-174 highway, an adventure itinerary for children, such as zip lines, trails, wall climbing and environmental workshop. Contact can be made by phone: (92) 99511-5422 or via instagram @ecoforestadventureoficial.
Citytour
The capital of Amazonas is splendid with all its architecture that refers to the times of the rubber cycle, in addition to the classic buildings and tourist attractions that enchant generations. To appreciate the urban beauties, the second tip from Amazonastur is the Amazonbus, a double-decker tourist bus, which takes you on a tour of the city, starting at Largo São Sebastião, Market Municipal Adolpho Lisboa, visiting the historic center, Arena da Amazônia, Ponta Negra and Rio Negro Bridge.
To further increase the knowledge of the children, the tours on the Amazonbus have tour guides accredited in the Registry of Tourist Service Providers (Cadastur), of the Ministry of Tourism, who tell the stories and curiosities of the tourist attractions.
Amazonians, seniors and students pay half price. For more information about the tours, just contact Eder Lima at (92) 98807-5519 or Instagram @kfturismomanaus.
Culture and Art
Following the proposal of art and culture interaction during school recess, until January 29th, the “Holiday Festival” of the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy takes place in 11 cultural spaces of the Government of the State of Amazonas, with programs designed for the children’s audience. Registration is free and can be done at the Portal da Cultura (www.cultura.am.gov.br), on Monday (01/23).
vacation and nature
Contact with nature is always fascinating for children, thinking about it, Amazonastur’s suggestions are the Museum of the Amazon (Musa) and the Bosque da Ciência.
