The acts were reported to the league that organizes the Spanish Championship, as had already happened in similar situations experienced by the striker and other players in Spain.
In addition to a fan identified by Vinicius Júnior in the stands as one of the perpetrators of the offenses, the police managed to discover the identity of two others, based on the availability of images from the security cameras at the Mestalla stadium. All were banned from playing on the spot.
