IPEC: Assessment of the Lula government has 37% of ‘excellent or good’

Support for the president in the first five months of government is greater than that of Jair Bolsonaro
Brasilia DF) – The government of President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva (PT) is considered excellent or good by 37% of voters, according to a survey by the Ipec institute released this Friday (9).
This means a negative oscillation of two percentage points compared to April.
On the other hand, 32% of respondents classified the government as fair (+2 points), 28% as bad or terrible (+2), and 3% did not know or did not want to answer (-3).
Hired by the newspaper O Globo, Ipec interviewed 2,000 people across the country, between the 1st and 5th of June, and has a margin of error of two percentage points.
Lula’s approval fluctuated negatively from 54% to 53%, while disapproval increased from 37% to 40%, outside the margin of error. 7% of people did not respond.
Support for the president in the first five months of his government is lower than that of Fernando Henrique Cardoso and Dilma Rousseff in the same period, and higher than that of Jair Bolsonaro. (ANSA).
