123milhas announced on Friday (18th) that it will cancel the packages and airline tickets of the “Promo” line, which offers flexible dates to consumers and has prices below those practiced by the market. The measure encompasses shipments scheduled from September to December.

The announcement led the Ministry of Tourism to ask Senacon (National Consumer Secretariat), of the Ministry of Justice, to investigate the company. Procon-SP also manifested itself, informing that it will notify the company on Monday (21).

According to 123milhas, the temporary suspension of the “Promo” line happened after the “persistence of adverse market circumstances”, beyond the company’s will.

123milhas said it is fully returning the amounts paid by customers, in vouchers plus monetary correction of 150% of the CDI – bonds issued by banks that follow the basic interest rate (Selic). According to the company, this adjustment value is above inflation and market interest rates.
