The purpose of the meeting was to briefly present the functioning of the Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) policy
The superintendent of the Manaus Free Trade Zone, interim, Ana Maria Souza, accompanied by servants of the General Coordination of Technological Management of Suframa (CGTEC), met yesterday (14), at the headquarters of the Autarchy, with representatives of the new management of the Center of Technological Education of Amazonas (Cetam).
The purpose of the meeting was to briefly present the functioning of the Research, Development and Innovation (RD&I) policy managed by Suframa and the possibilities for interaction between Cetam and the regional ecosystem due to its accreditation with the Research and Development Activities Committee in the Amazon (Capda).
During the conversation, Suframa employees explained that, since Cetam is accredited by Capda, the Center, as an Institute of Science and Technology (ICT), can develop projects and access resources from the ZFM’s Information Technology Law both through agreements with companies holding investment obligations in RD&I and through Capda’s Priority Programs, interacting with project coordinators in Bioeconomy, Innovative Entrepreneurship or Industry 4.0 and Industrial Modernization actions.
At the end of the meeting, the potential holding of a workshop by Suframa, in a hybrid format (face-to-face and virtual), was also discussed, so that Cetam and other ICTs, companies and bodies in the Research, Development and Innovation ecosystem in the region can learn more deeply about the benefits and possibilities of accessing resources from the ZFM’s IT Law.
