Previously, she was Senior Vice President of Ad Products at Google, and since 2014, President of YouTube. Mohan, the new president of the platform, graduated from Stanford, has been a Google employee since 2008 and, until then, held the position of director of products at YouTube. In the position, he had been working in the short video and music segments. Shares in Alphabet, which owns Google, were virtually unchanged for the day, falling less than 1% after the news.
