This Monday (27), Correios opened enrollment for the Young Apprentice program. There are 4,382 vacancies across the country for students between 14 and 21 years old. There will be formation of reserve register.
Registration is free and must be done through the Correios website. The deadline ends on April 21, at 11:59 pm, and the selection process will be valid for one year, renewable for another year.
The selection will allocate 10% of the vacancies to people with disabilities and 20% to black and brown candidates. According to Correios, the contract will be from 12 to 24 months, with CLT contracting (Consolidation of Labor Laws).
The professional training of young apprentices will be in the areas of administrative assistant or logistics assistant and will be carried out in face-to-face or distance education modalities.
To participate, the candidate must:

Be enrolled and attending a school (at least the 9th year of elementary school 2)

Be enrolled in a learning course of the Professional Learning Program indicated by the Postal Service

Not having been previously hired by the Post Office or as a young apprentice in another company

Those who are approved will receive a salary based on the minimum wage per hour according to the minimum wage in each state, in addition to transportation vouchers, meal vouchers or food vouchers, and a uniform, which will be a Correios T-shirt.
The working day will be 20 hours a week, four hours a day, divided into theoretical activities (in an entity qualified in technical-professional training) and practical activities, which will be carried out at the Post Office.

Then, the student registers in a second link, which can be accessed here, where he will be able to fill out the registration form.
The form will be used to select candidates, scoring according to the family’s gross monthly income, age, place of study (public or private school) and participation in social programs.
The result of the first phase will be announced until the 14th of July. The next two steps will be to verify the data sent by the candidate and carry out a medical examination. There is no prediction of the date of the results of the second and third phases.
