A lot of people watch “BBB”. From home, judging and commenting on the internet or in circles with friends. But what about taking part in this experience of being watched by cameras 24 hours a day, being trapped in a place for months with other people you don’t know? You have to be willing and courageous!
The reality show has become the subject of debates everywhere nowadays, and even those with a consolidated career have already found themselves reflecting on the possibility of participating. But what about the distance from the family, the shared bathroom…? This last issue, by the way, would be the greatest difficulty faced by the show’s presenter, Tadeu Schmidt, who told this in an interview with EXTRA, saying that he would agree to join the “BBB” as a participant, since he loves a good competition. Could it be that for other personalities the biggest problem would also be doing the number 2 in the same toilet as another 20 or so people? See here on the page what they said!
One bathroom and lots of people
“In advance, I wouldn’t agree to join ‘BBB’ because I’ve already been part of ‘A Fazenda’ and I know how it is. I’m good people, but I don’t take shit home. I would gladly share the bathroom, but I need to have my moment of privacy to do number 2. I usually take my cell phone, spend an hour there playing, checking messages. In reality, you cannot stay locked up for a long time”, says Compadre Washington.
An invitation would swing
“I think ‘Big Brother Brasil’ is really cool, I watch it a lot, but I never thought about joining. I don’t know how I would behave in the house, whether I would be a plant or expelled. But I think it’s too massive. So, if I received the invitation today, I would be shaken”, confesses the singer Felipe Araújo.
‘Never say never’
“Living with people wouldn’t even be a problem, but being recorded 24 hours a day wouldn’t work for me, no (laughs). Lots of exposure! Showing my life all the time is something that, for me, is not cool. At that moment, I wouldn’t go in, but I never say never to anything”, ponders actress Letícia Salles, from “Vai na fé”.
Nightmare don’t leave the studio
“For me, the worst is not even the longing for the family or the fact that the whole time you are being recorded. In ‘Big Brother Brasil’, at a certain point, the crowd turns on the light and you have to wake up. And it’s a house, but at the same time a studio. It’s a nightmare for an actor to never leave the studio (laughs)”, jokes Jean Paulo Campos, Yuri from “Vai na fé”.
‘Call me, Boninho’
“I would be super into reality. Boninho, you can call me now and I’ll come right away. About the biggest trouble, we are very heart. I don’t know how I would handle the judgmental part under pressure. I don’t know if I could harm someone trying to save me from the wall, for example”, points out Valesca Popozuda.
Various quirks to deal with
“I wouldn’t join ‘BBB’ at all. But if I went in, I’d leave right away because I’m full of quirks. We get old and it gets boring (laughs). I wouldn’t have the patience for a party, for an endurance test… I even get along well with the collective, but I’m the one who leaves all the conversation groups (laughs). I would leave the program in the first week”, bets actor Nando Cunha, from “Travessia”.
Flirt with everyone watching
“I think I would accept the ‘BBB’, yes! My greatest difficulty would be to stay away from the beach, from friends, from my family. But, thinking about it, it would even be peaceful because, as I’m always working on the run, it would be like ‘vacation’. Another thing I’ve always thought about is that, when someone approaches the person they want to pick up on ‘BBB’, for example, everyone is watching (laughs). That would be funny”, says Yuri Meirelles, a model who recorded a clip with Anitta and was successful on the web.
fear of cancellation
“We saw in the latest editions that the box kind of turned into a firing squad, the crowd being canceled all the time. Mariana (Vaz, with whom he is married) and I have already talked about the possibility of one day being invited, and she doesn’t want it at all. I am very attached to my children, to her, and not seeing her for three months would make me suffer. But it is such a gigantic business in Brazil that I would consider the proposal. I wouldn’t say ‘no’ right away. There’s the issue of great career visibility and communication with fans. But I think I would be scared. I’m not into fights. I’m sensitive, affectionate, and having my vulnerabilities exposed 24 hours a day would be complicated”, says Thiago Fragoso.
