In court documents, King said her husband had been receiving treatment at a medical center since August 2022 — but she claimed she was not told where he was and had no way of contacting him. “I am currently unaware of the well-being or my husband’s whereabouts,” she said in December, adding that she was “very worried about him.” Allman, 47, is the son of Cher and her ex-husband, the late rocker Gregg Allman. He married King, who is British, in 2013. Both are musicians. Allman has previously spoken about his struggle with drug abuse and addiction, describing to Entertainment Tonight in 2014 how he had been using drugs since he was 11.
