Vocalist of pagode group Molejo is diagnosed with pulmonary embolism

In October last year, Anderson had discovered inguinal cancer in the groin region.

The team of Anderson Leonardo, lead singer of the pagode group Molejo, updated the singer’s health status this Monday (11), and reported that, after a medical review and carrying out specific tests, a pulmonary embolism was found.

The artist’s condition is stable and he remains hospitalized in a medical unit in Rio de Janeiro, where he was admitted last Sunday (10) to be treated for pneumonia.

“The press office of the Molejo group is here to update the clinical picture of singer Anderson Leonardo, who was previously diagnosed with pneumonia, but after a medical review and new more specific tests, a pulmonary embolism was found with a stable condition. Once again we count on the prayers and support of friends, fans and contractors”,

said the note published on the singer’s official Instagram profile.

Cancer treatment

In October last year, Anderson had discovered inguinal cancer in the groin area. He continued with the treatment and in January of this year, he announced that he was cured. However, in May, he had to return to prevent the cancer from affecting other organs.
