The statements by Poit, one of Novo’s biggest enthusiasts against the use of the fund, should return to the agenda this Tuesday (28), when the caption will deliberate on the use of the income from the party fund, which revolves around R$ 1 million a month.

Another enthusiast of the refusal to use resources by the party, João Amoêdo, founder of the acronym, has already been criticizing the party’s decision to review the measure, which is considered one of its pillars. Although he disaffiliated last year, Amoêdo remains a reference for voters who supported his candidacy for president in 2018.

Also this Tuesday (28), the party’s national convention will deliberate on the remuneration of members of the directories, which today work on a voluntary basis. Both points were repeated like a mantra by voters and candidates of the acronym in the last elections, since Novo emerged in 2018 with the presidential candidacy of Amoêdo and elected Romeu Zema governor of Minas Gerais.
