Tutano Festival brings together gastronomic names this weekend

Anyone who goes to the Oscar Niemeyer Museum (MON) this weekend will find much more than art. Gastronomy will take over the largest museum in Latin America with the Tutano Festival, which takes place this Saturday (21st) and Sunday (22nd), with the participation of important names in the area.
Created by chef and businessman Beto Madalosso, the event previously called Forum Tutano changes its name and format in its fourth edition. With an extended program, in addition to lectures and debates about gastronomy, the Tutano Festival will now also have live music, local exhibitors, free show classes and activities for children.
In total, this edition features 16 lectures and debate panels, with more than 30 guests. Among the national highlights are the Bahian chef Ieda de Matos, who will talk about affective gastronomy, and the culinarian and television presenter Bela Gil, who will highlight the importance of a healthy, sustainable and accessible diet.
“Our idea is to bring together, in an unpretentious way, the main names in gastronomy to debate relevant topics in the market, discussing solutions, innovations and trends in the area. An event dedicated not only to professionals, but also to food lovers”, highlights Beto Madalosso.
Also available during the festival will be a fair with 30 food stalls and regional producers, show classes on topics such as smoked meats, fermentation, desserts, cheeses, coffees and drinks, as well as three musical attractions per day, with styles ranging from jazz to folk.
