Manaus (AM) – For the first time, the Provincial Palace, at Praça Heliodoro Balbi, Centro, will host this Saturday (10), the Tupissai Fair. Starting at 10am, the event features a diverse program, bringing together more than 50 exhibitors from different segments, such as fashion, gastronomy, music, painting workshops and games. The pet friendly fair has free admission.
Initially promoted as an online thrift store, Tupissai had its first edition in 2020 and has not stopped since. The business prospered and the partners Alicy Alves and Marilena Chaves decided to invest, valuing the work of small entrepreneurs.
“We weren’t able to have time for the thrift store and we decided to have a small event just to say goodbye, but it worked so well that we decided to invest. Since last year we have been making special editions in some spaces in the city”,
tells Alicy.
In addition to the bazaar, the program includes several attractions and gastronomic stalls. This will be the first edition of Tupissai at the Palacete, a cultural space managed by the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, which attracts a large audience, and with an accessible location in the central area of Manaus.
According to the Secretary of Culture, Marcos Apolo Muniz, the event is a great opportunity for the population to get to know the cultural space and take advantage of the opportunities that the fair offers.
“The event stimulates the creative economy, values entrepreneurship in various segments, in addition to being a great entertainment option for visitors who take the opportunity to get to know the Palacete’s museums and facilities”,
concludes the secretary.
