Trio Panavueiro leads three days of party to the sound of toadas in Parintins

Singer Helen Veras will welcome guests to the electric trio that will travel through the streets of Ilha Tupinambarana

Parintins (AM) – On the 30th of June, 1st and 2nd of July, the streets of Parintins (369 kilometers from Manaus) will receive the Trio Panavueiro with the presence of artists and bands, who carry in their repertoire toada de boi bumbá, preparing visitors for the shows that will take place at the Bumbódromo.

With the mission of bringing animation and infecting visitors and residents with the climate that surrounds Tupinambarana Island, the electric trio, which was a success last year, returns with the proposal of being another free alternative attraction during the period of the folk festival.

Promoted by the State Government, through the Secretariat of Culture and Creative Economy, the Panavueiro starts in the center of Parintins and continues through other streets, inviting everyone to celebrate the popular festival that is present with local artists.

“The Trio Panavueiro will be touring the city during the three days of the festival, contemplating an audience that usually doesn’t frequent the more central areas of the municipality. Artists from the island take turns in the trio, remembering the hit tunes and the most recent ones, in addition to other rhythms. It is an alternative program, open to the public, during the beef season”,

said the secretary of Culture and Creative Economy, Marcos Apolo Muniz, stressing that, in addition to music, gifts will be distributed to participants.

Behind the electric trio

For the second year, who will captain the Trio Panavueiro is the singer and composer Helen Veras who will receive several local guests. On the three days of the program (June 30, July 1 and 2), the gathering will take place at 2 pm on Rua Farias Neto, close to Praça do Açaí and the Coronas restaurant.

The route, according to the events manager at the secretary of culture, Denis Carvalho, will run along Jonathas Pedrosa, Amazonas and Senador Álvaro Botelho Maia streets. The completion of the route is scheduled for 17:00.

“We set up a route, but what will determine the length of stay of the Trio Panavueiro in each location is the animation of the players. Last year, the public was very receptive and, for sure, this edition will not be different”,

Denis reveals.

The action open to the public will count on the staff of the Military Police of Amazonas, the State Department of Traffic of the State of Amazonas (Detran) and the Fire Department.
