‘There was a mistake on my part’

Gabriel was the second eliminated from “Big Brother Brasil 23” and, already out of reality, reflected on the reasons that led him to leave the game. The model does not regret the strategies he adopted, but confesses that “an individual error” weighed in at the time of the wall. When asked about the relationship he had with Bruna Griphao in the house, considered toxic and even warned by Tadeu Schmidt, he comments:

— There was a mistake on my part, saying inappropriate things, like neither on the program, nor out here, and nowhere should you talk, not even as a joke, as Tadeu said and I agree. Outsiders don’t understand that emotions are very intense there. We create a very strong bond, both friendship and relationship. And I think it ended up extrapolating. It was a big mistake on my part, one of the biggest embarrassments I’ve ever experienced in my life, regret is not even spoken. But Bruna was the first person who could have put me aside and she did the opposite: she wanted to see my good side and managed to see that. She was essential for me not to fall under pressure and want, for example, to press the quit button.

The ex-brother was taken by surprise as soon as he entered the house due to the dynamics of the pairs and says that he had to change the game strategy he had planned from the beginning.

“Playing solo has always been on my mind. Like it or not, I’m a guy who isn’t afraid to take risks in the game. In competitions, he spoke in his opponents’ ear to see if he could distract them, for example. When I play alone, I have responsibilities that only I bear, I don’t have to worry about anyone else. When I play in a duo and, mainly, I play in a group, I have to worry about my duo and ten other people; I start making decisions that maybe I wouldn’t make. I intended to go in alone and, up front, perhaps, to ally myself with a group for the sake of game dynamics, of having fewer people to put me on the wall – he says.

But Paula, however, was the right choice as a partner, according to Gabriel.

— Paula was the only one with whom I would like to form a duo, the only one I already knew, so I felt much more comfortable being with her than with anyone else — he comments, who hopes that the sister takes the reality show award: — She came a long way to participate in the BBB, so she deserves this award and is able to get there.

In addition to praising his team’s posture in the game, he also highlighted another participant in this edition:

— One person who surprised me (positively) was Shoe Guy, who I think is very strong in the game, cool head. He has already gone through several things in his life, so he can adapt to the adversities that game proposes. I think he goes too far, even though he is a guy with a lot of heart and maybe that hinders him from making more rational decisions. But, as far as I could see, he was managing to deal with this issue and identify manipulations, see malice.

career and learning

Now that he is out of the most guarded house in the country, Gabriel still has no plans to invest in specific projects. All he wants is the lap of the family:

“I want to be with my family. I don’t think about parties or anything, I just want to be with my mother, my sisters, my father, my cats. I want to sleep in my bed, eat my food and then I see what I do. But the modeling career never left my mind.

He still confesses his greatest learning from participating in the program:

— My biggest learning was realizing that maybe I didn’t know myself 100% before joining the program. I was never afraid of being canceled because it was never my will to be famous, but it’s good to get to know each other before joining and knowing that I could have said something like that without knowing it. In my head, until Tadeu spoke, I hadn’t realized it. My biggest learning was to look inside myself, see what I can improve and take that into life.
