Gastromotiva, a social organization founded by chef David Hertz, will offer over 1,200 places throughout 2023 for its courses focused on income generation and gastronomy. Classes are free and take place online and in person in the cities of São Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Curitiba.

Four selection processes are now open for the courses “Microbusiness in Gastronomy”, “Use, Make and Sell” and “Together at the Table and in Business”. Classes start in March and April, in addition to Basic Training in Cooking, scheduled for May.
The “Microbusiness in Gastronomy” is 100% online, and is aimed at people over 18 from all over the country who want to start a business in the food industry.
The course emphasizes microbusiness management, product development and technical improvement through interactive content that is up-to-date with market demands.
The “Basic Training in Kitchen” aims to train kitchen professionals offering practical and theoretical teaching of gastronomy, such as basic skills, confectionery, baking, salon service, professional posture, among others. The format is semi-presential, and features live (synchronous) and recorded (asynchronous) classes and activities.
The traditional Gastromotiva course “Empreenda Make and Sale” is technical training for the development of entrepreneurial skills.
Aimed at professionals from communities with small gastronomic businesses under development, it is open to adults with a family income of up to 3 minimum wages.
The new entrepreneurship course “Together at the Table and in Business”, is the first course aimed exclusively at women. In it, students learn how to develop a product, publicize it, sell it, in addition to financial education and home economics. Classes also address the challenges of the job market for women and how to create a sustainable business.
