barista robot
Imagine cafes fully served by robots. This is what MyAppCafe proposes and what it calls a robot barista. According to the manufacturer, the machine requires less than 1 hour of human labor per day to operate. A MyAppCafe station costs around US$ 250,000 and occupies an average of 6 m². Could this be the next step for To Go coffee shops?
There’s a robot frying potatoes too
Robot fries? The manufacturer Atosa guarantees that the robotic operation delivers standardization and consistency in the preparation of fries. “If your potato has to stay for 4 minutes and 38 seconds at 175 °C, that’s how long it will stay”, says the exhibitor. When leaving the fryer, the potato is stored in a stainless steel vat that “blows” hot jets to maintain the crispiness and quality of the preparation for longer
Inventory control through camera lens
PreciTaste’s technology makes it possible to count inventory in real time using cameras installed in the locations where the inputs are located. In addition, the system also allows all kitchen preparation routines to be recorded. They can be sorted by order of priority and detailed – from how to do it to the average time for each task. When performing the task, the employee checks and updates this information in the system in real time.
