Success in Pinheiros, Tank Brewpub starts the year by expanding its beer frontiers.
This Friday (3), the brewpub from the western region of São Paulo launches its first collaboration with a foreign brewery, Astor Birra, from Tolosa, in the Argentine city of Buenos Aires.
The label chosen was a brett saison, with the funny name Em um Brett Papo. The beautiful visual identity of the bottle was created by Ciro Bicudo, from Only Hops Can Break Your Heart, an artist who also bridged the gap between the two breweries. The idea arose after a visit by brewmaster Hermano Luca Fernández around here.
It is a chance, albeit at a glance, to get to know some of Astor’s work, a brewery awarded at festivals around the world, such as the 2022 World Beer Cup, in the USA, which it left with a silver medal.
A good part of the batch will be available on Tank taps starting today, for R$25 (330 ml glass) and R$90, 750 ml bottle. Another small part will continue to mature —taking advantage of the brett yeasts— to be opened in the future.
In a Brett Papo it has 6.5% alcohol, slightly cloudy appearance and yellow color.
