Manaus (AM) – The superintendent of Suframa, Bosco Saraiva, continued this Thursday (27) the initial agenda of activities and dialogues at the head of the autarchy with new interviews for local communication vehicles, including radio and television stations and portals of news, in which he again emphasized the institution’s priority missions in the initial period of his administration: regional integration and development and institutional strengthening and the region’s business environment.
In interactions with press professionals, the superintendent said that he will go to Brasília, next week, to carry out the first official executive dialogues in favor of Suframa and that, soon, he intends to start a schedule of trips to all states where Suframa operates (Amazonas, Acre, Rondônia, Roraima and Amapá), including municipalities in the Interior, to take personally the proposal to strengthen regional integration based on the dissemination of tax benefits from the Manaus Free Trade Zone model and the identification of potential job generation opportunities and income in these locations.
“We cannot neglect the Industrial Pole of Manaus in any way, we need to defend and strengthen this economic dynamic of great importance for our region, but the States are our brothers in the North who also need to receive everything we can give in relation to the benefits of Manaus Free Zone. In addition to a Suframa obligation, going to municipalities in the interior is also a personal conviction. I am firm about the purpose of going there to learn about the infrastructure, explain the incentives, learn about the demands and personally verify the development possibilities of these partner states and municipalities”,
Saraiva explained.
Another subject addressed by the superintendent was the need to stimulate entrepreneurship in the region’s business environment and to strengthen institutional communication actions, both at the local and national level, so that opinion makers, parliamentarians, businessmen, investors and Brazilian society as a whole have a more credible opinion on the various socioeconomic and environmental results achieved by the Zona Franca de Manaus model in its 56 years of existence.
“The Manaus Free Trade Zone is not a burden for the Brazilian State, on the contrary, it is a locomotive for the development of the Country. So we have this need to strengthen communication and have it on a permanent basis, because I’m sure that all the people who visit and get to know our factories, our region, end up naturally convinced and then even become defenders of the Free Trade Zone Manaus”,
Saraiva pointed out.
