Suframa’s goal is to encourage interactions with the business community

Manaus (AM) – Two companies that are now part of the Rubberon group were visited by Suframa, on Wednesday (5th), at the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM): Rubberon Indústria, Comércio e Exportação SA and Nortebag Ltda. Both work with plastic products and operate in the same complex, in an area of ​​47 thousand square meters, located on Avenida Buriti, Industrial District, South zone.

Rubberon develops activities in the manufacture and sale of rotational molding compounds, PP (polypropylene) and PE (polyethylene). Nortebag, on the other hand, operates in the production of yarns, fabrics, bags and big bags. Putting the two together, monthly production is 10 thousand tons per month, the result of an activity carried out in three shifts, from Sunday to Sunday, by approximately 500 employees.

Suframa’s visit was conducted by superintendent Bosco Saraiva and technicians from the Autarchy. The objective is to foster interactions with the business community, strengthen articulation with the productive sector and promote the strengthening of the business environment in the region.

In terms of expansion, the Rubberon group has already invested around R$ 200 million in the last five years and should inaugurate, still in the coming weeks, the new Rubber Factory in Amazônia. The project will operate in the municipality of Iranduba (25 kilometers from Manaus) with a social appeal, which is expected to benefit 2,700 riverside residents and generate income for families.

In addition to the Rubberon group, Suframa has already visited the two production units of Semp TCL no (PIM) and Multilaser this year. According to the Autarchy, the same procedure will still be done with companies in the fields of information technology, chemical, two wheels, among others.
