The event promotes the possibilities of financing interiorization projects and fostering the research, development and innovation ecosystem

Boa Vista (RR) – Suframa promotes next week, the 1st Journey of Regional Integration and Interiorization of Development in Roraima. The event, which begins on Tuesday (18th) and runs until Thursday (20th), in Boa Vista, brings together the main development entities in the Amazon to explain the comparative advantages in the Manaus Free Trade Zone (FMZ) and Free Trade (ALC), in addition to publicizing possibilities for financing interiorization projects and fostering the local research, development and innovation (RD&I) ecosystem.

The superintendent of Suframa, Bosco Saraiva, who will lead the delegation of the Autarchy in Boa Vista, points out that the event is part of the goal of regionalization and internalization of Suframa, listed by the new management. Furthermore, it marks the consolidation of the inter-institutional partnership between Suframa, the Superintendence for the Development of the Amazon (Sudam) and Banco da Amazônia (Basa).

“It will be the first time that these institutions, together, will present their respective project portfolios, with the idea of ​​creating joint initiatives in favor of the interiorization of the development and integration of the Amazon. In the case of Suframa, we will detail to potential investors how they can enjoy tax benefits, such as the Information Technology Law, the free trade area, and how entrepreneurs can industrialize products with regional raw material and with tax benefits”,

Schedule

The program starts on Tuesday (18th), from 8 am, in the auditorium of Faculdade Catedral, with capacity for 600 people, and will feature the lecture: “Computer Laws applied to Regional Integration”, in addition to the panels: “Program Priorities” and “Results of Information Technology Laws in the Western Amazon and Amapá”. At the end there will be a presentation “Proposal of the Accelerator of Companies – Forte Boa Vista”.

On Wednesday (19), at the OAB-RR Auditorium, with capacity for 300 people, starting at 8 am, the lecture “Tax Incentives and Financing in Roraima” is scheduled and, in the afternoon, the panel “Presentation of projects based on regional raw material”; the presentation of the case of Agroindustrial Serra Verde, the first Industry outside Manaus to have a project approved by Suframa; and the lecture “Internalisation and development actions at Suframa”. There will also be presentations by Sudam, Basa, the Brazilian Association for Research and Industrial Innovation (Embrapii) and the Financier of Studies and Projects (Finep).

For Thursday (20) visits are scheduled to industries and science and technology institutes in Roraima.
