As they were not satisfied with the return of the business, in 2016, they opened a mattress store. The businessmen invested BRL 25,000 in purchasing inventory and, in order to adapt the point of sale, which is located in Taboão da Serra, in São Paulo, the strategy was to create a business with lean operation to offer more accessible prices. It worked so well that, in 2019, they opened their second store. In the pandemic, the brothers then had to adapt to the new needs of the consumer, who began to seek online assistance. The first change was the delivery time. The company started making deliveries in up to two hours. The company sells mattresses starting at R$600. And it offers a test-drive service – it takes mattresses for the customer to choose at home -, which represents 50% of the store’s calls. And it does not charge an additional fee for the service.
