Together with a partner, he created a marketplace that connects pet owners to establishments, in São Bernardo do Campo, in Greater São Paulo. Carlos Alvares has owned a petshop affiliated with the startup for 5 months. His store’s monthly revenue increased by 15% with sales through the marketplace. Affiliated pet shops pay the startup a commission of 3 to 12% on marketplace sales. But if the entrepreneur wants more support, he has the option of licensing, where the pet shop uses the startup brand and receives management support, and the commission varies from 4 to 12% on sales in the marketplace and also in the physical store.
