Spotify down? Users report instability – 04/19/2023 – Tech

Spotify was off the air this Wednesday morning (19). Downdetector, an online services monitoring site, recorded a peak of 717 complaints at 9:06 am reporting a problem with the online music streaming service. The company confirmed the drop but said it was taking action.

Among the most reported problems, 46% are related to the website and another 46% with the streaming functionality. Already 6% involve failure to log in.

The instability on the platform is also trending topics (subjects of the moment) in Brazil around 9am, being the second most commented subject, with 672 thousand tweets so far. The theme is also discussed in other countries, such as the United States.

Internet users publish about the flaw, including sharing memes, a common attitude when platforms are unstable.

Through Elon Musk’s network, the official support profile @spotifystatus, which provides updates on the status of the audio platform, confirmed the problems. According to them, something is not working correctly and they are working to make the necessary repairs. The company thanked users for their signals.
