SP reserves R$ 160 million in ICMS for sports and culture in the year – 04/13/2023 – Panel SA

Sefaz (Secretary of Finance and Planning of the State of São Paulo) will open, as of Monday (17), the sponsorship program for cultural and sports projects through ICMS tax benefit.
According to the government, accredited and qualified taxpayers in the PAC (Cultural Action Program) and in the PIE (Sports Incentive Program), which provide tax benefits in exchange for resources invested in the initiatives, can enroll.
The maximum amount of funds established for this year is BRL 100 million for PAC projects and BRL 60 million for PIE, according to Sefaz.
The secretariat also claims that it has made a manual available on its website to facilitate the understanding of the programs.
