SP Oktoberfest will have Paulaner, Munich’s official beer – 04/21/2023 – Full Glass

The start was given to São Paulo Oktoberfest, the city’s biggest beer event scheduled to take place between October 6th and 22nd. Like last year, the party takes place again at Ginásio do Ibirapuera, which seems to assume the post of permanent venue for the event, which has already taken place in Sambódromo, Jockey Club and Villa Alemã.

If the place is the same, the novelty is in the exchange of the main beer of the São Paulo edition. Exit Spaten, which supplied the last two editions in the capital of São Paulo, and enter Paulaner.

Like its predecessor, the German Paulaner is one of the six official beers of Oktoberfest in Munich, the biggest party of its kind in the world — the others are Augustiner, Hofbräu, Hacker Pschorr, Lowenbrau and the aforementioned Spaten. As it happens in the German party, the style will be the munich helles, a slightly more malted version, elaborated with the traditional hops of Hallertauer.

Created in 1634, Paulaner arrives in Brazil by the importer Casa Flora and can be easily found in the main brewery addresses in the city or on the importer’s own website (loja.casaflora.com.br).

The new national representative was also announced and is now Eisenbahn, a beer from Santa Catarina belonging to the Heineken group, which also values ​​the German school. The styles that will be available from the brewery here have not yet been announced.

The first batch of tickets for the 6th São Paulo Oktoberfest began to be sold on the website ticket360.com.br, with prices starting at R$25. , 20, 21 and 22 October.
