Snoop Dogg wine arrives in Brazil; where to buy – 03/08/2023 – Food

Not only music lives Snoop Dogg. The 19 Crimes wine, signed by the American rapper, has just arrived in Brazil. The 750 ml bottles will cost from R$139.99 and can be found in selected Pão de Açúcar stores in the states of Rio de Janeiro, São Paulo, Ceará and Paraíba.
Present in the United States and Australia, the brand arrives in Brazil in two versions, the Cali Red and the Cali Cab. The titles are the result of a consortium between Treasury Wine Estates (Australia) and Santa Rita Estates (Chile), to produce, distribute and market the product in South America.
The brand’s first label, Cali Red, is a blend composed of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon and Carménère. The second, Cali Cab, is a combination of Cabernet Sauvignon and Syrah. The products will be sold exclusively in the market network until at least December.
The wine provokes discussions around the brand name 19 Crimes and the relationship with Snoop Dogg. The reality is that the choice has nothing to do with the rapper, as the “19 crimes” concern the list of reasons that led Englishmen to be exiled to Australia at the end of the 18th century.
