Scheduled for May 11, the passage of the tour that brings together the seven members of the classic formation of Titãs has a change of location
The Titãs Encontro tour has begun and, in Manaus, there will be a change of venue: the presentation on May 11th (Thursday), which would have taken place at the Podium at Arena da Amazônia, will now be at Studio 5, where the audience will be even closest to the band to share the emotion of this historic show.
Tickets for the show that brings together Arnaldo Antunes, Branco Mello, Charles Gavin, Nando Reis, Paulo Miklos, Sérgio Britto and Tony Bellotto are still available (access here) and previously purchased tickets are still valid for the event’s new address.
The organization made available the support contact (92) 9535-4545 for questions about the changes.
the tour
The show is part of a sequence of 21 shows that the band performs all over Brazil and which already has a confirmed audience of more than 500,000 people. It’s a lot of people to vibrate and remember the history and successes, such as “Sonífera Ilha”, “Cegos do Castelo” and other titanic hits, which the band, formed in 1982, consecrated in the last four decades.
The appointment with music that has crossed generations and continues to be part of the lives of many fans is one of the most anticipated celebrations of 2023.
One of the most outstanding points of the tour takes place in June, when Titãs Encontro lands in São Paulo: on the 16th, 17th and 18th of June, the band “plays at home” and performs at Allianz Parque (the first two dates, already with Tickets Sold Out).
The group also has a confirmed trip to Portugal, with a show scheduled for November 3, at the Altice Arena, in Lisbon.
With the motto “all at the same time now”, which alludes to the album released by the group in 1991 and values the present by bringing technology and creativity in interaction with large audiences, the Titãs Encontro experience is a true celebration of the music that the seven members did together, valuing the aesthetic plurality of each phase the band went through.
On stage, there will also be tribute to the group’s guitarist, Marcelo Fromer, who died in 2001, with the participation of the artist’s daughter, the also singer Alice Fromer, on the tour.
