The show’s repertoire includes works by 17 composers and features songs such as Shangrila (Rita Lee / Roberto de Carvalho); Who knows (Adriana Calcanhotto); Dawn (D. Ivone Lara/Délcio Carvalho); flower to go away (Fátima Guedes), among many other composers such as Dolores Duran, Angela Ro Ro, Sueli Costa, Ceumar, Alice Ruiz, Marina Lima and Ana Terra. From Chiquinha Gonzaga to the present day, women have had a remarkable and fundamental presence in the history of Brazilian music. However, especially as creators, they are much less remembered than men. The show they for them seeks precisely to explore a little of this vast legacy, in a performance with an unusual format that presents four men interpreting works by some of these important artists.
