Shopping celebrates 29 years with carnival-style programming in Manaus

Musical attractions and revelry mark celebrations held during the month

Manaus (AM) – For more than two decades, Shopping São José has been active providing entertainment and integration to Manaus residents. During the month of February, the establishment celebrates 29 years with a special program for the public, with musical attractions and a carnival rhythm.

The program started on Friday night (2) with live music in the mall’s food court to entertain visitors. The entertainment was provided by the pagoda group Eskema. On Saturday (3), singer Alib Said led the presentation.

The free event has been offering a program since Monday morning (5). The public at the food court received a DJ performance from 10:30 am to 12 pm. In parallel, at 11:30 am, the mall team celebrated the anniversary by singing happy birthday.

The entertainment continued with singer Nely Furtado, from 12pm to 2pm, singing carnival songs. Children also received a special program with chalk painting, drawings and a clown show, until 2pm.

The festivities continue on Saturday (10) with the Carnival Ball, starting at 4pm, in the food court. The dance will be aimed at children and will feature games, costumes and fun.

Businesswoman Rayana Pinho, owner of ‘Bazar da Rayana’, highlighted that store owners also benefit from the mall’s commemorative actions. The ‘Giant of the North’, as the store is popularly known, will hold an edition to celebrate its anniversary, with promotions and special offers.

“The shopping mall opened its doors to the Bazaar, we are the first popular shopping mall in the northern region to be located within a fixed location in the establishment. This is a source of great pride and contributes to our enterprise”,

he stated.

With the bazaar at the mall having been running for four months, the results are already visible. The establishment’s editions won over the public, which represents an important milestone in its history, according to Rayana Pinho.
