SES-AM intensifies consultations and exams this weekend

The aim is to reach all areas of Manaus in the coming weeks

Manaus (AM) – Thinking about reducing the queue of patients included in the National Regulation System (SISREG), the State Department of Health (SES-AM) performs, on Saturday (11), the intensification of care by specialties at the Codajás and Gilberto Mestrinho Polyclinic , both in the Center-South Zone of Manaus.

The intensification is part of the government’s 100-day plan, and is intended to reach all areas of Manaus in the coming weeks.

The secretary of state for health, Anoar Samad, explains that the intensification of care for regulated patients is aimed at advancing the provision of care, due to the great demand that exists for health services.

“We are working to ensure that our regulated patients, who are in the Sisreg queue, waiting for a consultation or examination, can receive the care they need. For this, our team released a list with the names of these patients and invites them to attend one of the Polyclinics that are carrying out this intensification, with easy access”, said the secretary.

To facilitate access to services, SES-AM publishes a list with the names of patients summoned, they must look for the units, this Saturday, to receive specialized care.

Attendances

Medical specialties will be assisted at Polyclínica Codajás: endocrinology, rheumatology, ophthalmology, orthopedics, psychiatry, dermatology, gynecology, otorhinolaryngology and cardiology, in addition to procedures that are: mammography, electrocardiogram, total abdominal ultrasound, as well as rapid testing for syphilis, HIV and hepatitis B and C and application of vaccines.

The expectation is that at the Codajás Polyclinic, there will be 512 patients treated by the medical specialties and more than 120 consultations with exams, in addition to the availability of 500 doses of vaccines for the general public, which will allow approximately 1,130 people to be assisted in the unit.

While at Policlínica Gilberto Mestrinho, consultations will be offered in specialties such as: general surgery, cardiology, orthopedics, neurology and dermatology for regulated patients, in addition to exams such as: ultrasound, electroencephalogram, electrocardiogram and X-ray, totaling 420 procedures, in addition to being made available 300 vaccine doses.
