Ama.zo
One of the highlights of the Peruvian restaurant is the garden with massive trees, ideal for lunches with the family or dinners for two. The menu, with dishes designed by chef Enrique Paredes, features shells a la chalaca (R$85), with scallops marinated in lemon, tiger’s milk and olive oil as an option for heat. Another light combination are the corn tacos, filled with raw fish and avocado mousse, which start at R$69.

Botanikafé
Wooden benches and trees make up the outside of the restaurant, which serves a menu in addition to breakfast. People stop at the establishment to have a coconut water or a bowl of mango, banana and strawberry cream, topped with nuts, grated coconut and fruit (R$ 38) after training; or they drink coffee with milk and bread on the grill to start the day in a more conventional way. There are still those who are at full steam, with notebooks on the table next to avocado toast.

Loup
With a large outdoor area with outdoor tables, it features a private room for events and a main hall with a vertical garden. Businessman Daniel Sahagoff’s contemporary restaurant combines cuisines from Italy, France, Portugal, Brazil and Thailand. On hot days, it’s worth ordering the burrata with basil pesto with tomato confit (R$ 74), tuna poke (R$ 59) or Thai-style tartar (R$ 65), with filet mignon, Thai seasoning and crunchy rice with nori.

The three-story house, located on the corner of one of Tatuapé’s busiest streets, has a balcony and an outdoor terrace on the top floor. Among the options on the varied menu (which includes snacks, grilled dishes and risottos), there is the drinks menu created by consultant Dudah Bonatto, which features cocktails such as the matriarchy (cognac, maraschino liqueur, strawberry shrub, red vermouth and salt, R$ 38).

Quintal da Mooca
With a retractable roof and trees in the room, the bar has options for snacks, snacks or main dishes. One of the highlights of the restaurant, founded in 2012 by two waiters from Ceará, is the gizzard, served with sauce and biquinho pepper, but there are also options such as fish fillets, tartare and rack of lamb. Caipirinhas include versions with cashew, grape and lemon varieties.

Red Coffee
Pet friendly, the space has outdoor tables with wooden floors. Housed in a 1950s house, the café welcomes neighborhood clientele from breakfast to happy hour. Special coffees and microlots from various regions, roasted every week, are brewed in the Hario V60 (R$15 to R$18). To satisfy your hunger, there is a savory waffle with scrambled eggs, bacon, butter and homemade jam (R$43) and a sweet waffle with fruit, whipped cream and coffee brigadeiro (R$38).

St Chico
The bakery offers outdoor tables protected by umbrellas, with a pet-friendly space lined with trees. The menu features traditional breakfast foods, with artisanal breads, focaccia, croissants, cakes and coffees, which are made in partnership with No More Bad Coffee. A highlight of the treats is the Nutella tartine with salted almonds. With the arrival of the end of the year, the house started making artisanal panettone.

Santana Bar
In a townhouse in Pinheiros, the bar was opened in 2020 by award-winning bartender Gabriel Santana. The house has an outdoor deck and a few tables and stools indoors, as well as a mini balcony. The drinks menu is extensive, with more than a hundred recipes, including many cocktail classics and creations. One of the highlights is the limessy, which contains gin, plums and Tahiti lemon (R$ 42).

Shuk Falafel & Kebab
Suzana Goldfarb, of Jewish origin, and Mauro Brosso, of Syrian descent, transformed the Yalah Falafel delivery into a restaurant with outdoor tables. The specialty is Middle Eastern street food. Roasted over coals, hatzil eggplant is served with dry curd and pomegranate molasses (R$36). The yalah falafel sandwich, of Egyptian origin, combines falafel, hummus, salad, red cabbage relish, pickles, breaded eggplant and tahini sauce (R$ 36).

Uru Mar and Parrilla
Uruguayan-inspired meat house, has a large outdoor area furnished with wooden tables and benches protected by parasols. Small or large groups can accommodate without any problems. Beef meat, cooked on the parrilla, is the restaurant’s flagship product, with cuts such as chorizo (R$ 129, 300g), ancho (R$ 149, 300g) and tapa de cuadril (R$ 129, 300g).

Zain
The atmosphere is modern, with a garden and outdoor tables. The menu lists unusual orders, such as hummus with meat braised in spices and almonds toasted in butter (R$ 54.90). Zain’s fries come to the table with lamb shank and curd sauce (R$ 89.90). In addition to the nine savory flavors of esfihas, there are three sweet ones (from R$15 to R$23).
