Rio Preto da Eva (AM) — The municipality of Rio Preto da Eva launched, on Monday (27), discussions on investments for the Bioagroindustrial District (Biodarpe), during a meeting, in Caboco Chibata, with community leaders, which brought together more than 600 people.
In addition to launching Biodarpe, other investments were also discussed with local leaders, such as land regularization, rural technical assistance, production flow, recovery of branch lines, environmental licenses and the implementation of five Agrovilas.
The Bioagroindustrial District had its area donated by the Board of Directors of Suframa (CAS) in December 2020, and already has approximately 20 registered companies, with the expectation of generating more than 10 thousand jobs in the next 10 years, where the production of fruit pulp, processing of medicines, herbal medicines, among other goods.
In its implementation, the project will undergo environmental impact studies to create municipal laws with regulations and norms for the installation of industries.
“Biodarpe comes to strengthen the economy of Rio Preto da Eva, generate jobs for the population, transform the municipality into a large industrial center in the interior of Amazonas”,
said the mayor of Rio Preto da Eva, Anderson Sousa.
During the meeting, the municipality of Rio Preto da Eva also received 8 tractors, the result of a partnership between the government and the city hall so that rural producers can mechanize their areas and produce food, making work more agile, reducing efforts and costs, in addition to of four pick-ups, a motorcycle and a boat, for the Municipal Secretary of Rural Production, Municipal Secretary of Environment and Coordination of Districts and Communities.
The event had the participation of state authorities such as the Secretary of Rural Production (SEPROR), Petrúcio Magalhães, President of FETAGRI/AM, Edjane Rodrigues, Superintendent Director of SEBRAE/AM, Ananda Carvalho, President of FAEA, Muni Lorenzo, Director- CIAMA Technician, Nelson de Souza, Public Defender of the State of Amazonas (DPE/AM), Secretary of State for Government (Segov), Secretary of State for Economic Development, Science, Technology and Innovation (Sedecti), Legislative Assembly of Amazonas ( Aleam), Federation of Industries of the State of Amazonas (Fieam), Manaus Free Trade Zone (Suframa), in addition to municipal authorities.
