Who can enter works? Professional and amateur artists can submit copyright works, as long as they have not been previously selected or awarded at the Piracicaba International Humor Exhibition or at other graphic events by the closing date for submissions. The organizers defined for this year five specific categories of works, in addition to a general one, called Thematic, on the theme: “50 Years: Midlife Crisis”. The specific ones are: Cartoon (graphic humor with universal and timeless themes) Charge (graphic humor with current journalistic themes) Caricatura (graphic humor that expresses the physical and/or character traits of a well-known personality) Strips/HQ (graphic art in sequence; for comics, stories with a maximum of two pages will be accepted) Saúde Unimed (for works that address the health theme) The regulation indicates that each artist can submit a maximum of three works per category. Entries for works in all categories must be made by June 18th. They are also free.
