  • 3/4 teaspoon salt
  • 300 grams of banana puree (made with about three very ripe medium bananas and mashed well with a fork)
  • 130 grams of sugar
  • 60 grams of natural Greek yogurt
  • Two eggs
  • 1 teaspoon(s) vanilla extract
  • 100 grams of chocolate and hazelnut cream (for example Nutella)

Preparation:

  • Heat the oven to 180ºC. Grease and flour a 20 x 12 x 8 cm mold
  • Mix the flour, baking soda and salt in a bowl
  • Melt the butter in a light-bottomed pan over medium heat. Cook the butter, stirring the pan and, if necessary, occasionally scraping the bottom and sides of the pan with a rubber spatula, until it is a deep golden brown and smells of nuts. Do not move away from the skillet during this process. Butter goes from browned and nutty to burnt in an instant. Transfer the butter to a large heatproof bowl and allow to cool slightly.
  • When the butter has cooled slightly, add the mashed banana, sugar, yogurt, eggs and vanilla extract.
  • Stir until everything is incorporated, then add the flour, salt and baking soda mixture and stir. until uniform, but not mixed too much.

  • Place half the dough in the already greased mold and spread it evenly with a knife or a spatula. spread half the Nutella in several pieces in the dough and use a toothpick or spoon to distribute it in the dough.
  • Place and spread the remaining dough over this one and repeat the process.
  • Take the dough to the oven for about 55 or 60 minutes or until golden; put a toothpick in the center of the dough: if it comes out clean, it’s ready.
