More than R$ 7 billion can still be redeemed by Brazilians in banks or financial institutions. Data are from the Central Bank. The municipality updated the statistics of the SVR (System of Receivables) this Friday (7), covering information until May.

In all, 36.5 million individuals can withdraw amounts. Since November 2022, when the system was inaugurated, 14 million people (38% of the total) have withdrawn some amount made available.

Among the companies, 535,000 have already received the forgotten money. Another 2.7 million follow with amounts available for withdrawal.

In all, R$ 232 million were redeemed in May. It was the third largest sum returned in the historical series, which includes information since December 2022. It loses only to April (R$ 260 million withdrawn) and March of this year (R$ 505 million).

More than 4.5 million Brazilians are entitled to withdraw between R$100.01 and R$1000. Another 796 thousand citizens can withdraw sums above R$1000.01.

The total to be returned by the BC system exceeds R$ 11 billion. R$ 4.1 billion have already been recovered. Individuals still have R$5.7 billion to receive; companies, R$ 1.4 billion.

Consultations with the SVR can be made at any time, on the website valorareceber.bcb.gov.br. You must have your CPF number and date of birth in your hands if you are an individual. Legal persons can consult through the CNPJ and the date of opening of the company.
