In addition to chocolate fans, Easter in the capital of São Paulo also has options for customers with a taste for experimentation.
Among the unusual versions, there are coxinha, sushi and even pudding Easter eggs. See below for a list of five options — including a bakery that offers all-you-can-eat options.
Egg pudding, by Bombom Da Baiana Gourmet
Between the Tatuapé and Carrão do Metrô stations, in the east zone of São Paulo, the bakery Baiana Bombom innovated not only in the flavors of the eggs, but also in the scheme of offering them. There, it is possible to taste ten flavors of mini Easter eggs in a rotation for R$ 39.90 per person (children aged 7 to 10 pay half). Versions include flavors like banoffee, key lime pie, and even pudding.

Coxinha egg, from Panetteria ZN
Famous for its giant coxinha, one of the best known bakeries in São Paulo decided to offer, at Easter, unusual versions that include sweet and savory eggs. The menu offers egg pudding (which comes with a mini sweet on top), pie and coxinha —which can be stuffed with chicken, dried meat and even cod.

Sushi egg from Mam Sushi
At MAM Sushi, in Santo Amaro, it is possible to taste salmon Easter eggs with cream cheese, salmon with Doritos, shimeji and even hot roll eggs. Despite the oval shape, the egg is not chocolate: the shell is made with seasoned rice, and the fillings come on top.

Romeo and Juliet Egg by Petite Fleur Patisserie
With 400 g, the egg has a white chocolate shell filled with layers of cream cheese and guava paste — which also appears in the decoration of the recipe.
