In the text, the entities ask for the disclosure of the date for the payment of the installment, as provided for in Law 9,436/2021 and promised at the time by the governor, and recall the wage losses faced by state civil servants.
“Maintaining the purchasing power of public servants in the face of the erosion of their salaries due to inflation, in addition to being constitutionally foreseen, is a healthy measure for maintaining the provision of a quality public service to the population of Rio de Janeiro”, he highlights in the letter.
In addition, representatives of Civil Police, Criminal Police, Degase and Fire Department officials point out that other spheres, such as the Judiciary and Legislature, have already applied the foreseen rules. They also highlight that, while there is no forecast for the payment of the second installment, the Executive even sent to the Legislative Assembly of Rio (Alerj), at the end of 2022, a bill to increase the remuneration of the first echelon of government.
The document was signed by the unions of police chiefs (Sindelpol-RJ), civil police officers (SindPol), criminal police officers in RJ (Sindsistema), civil servants in the socio-educational career of RJ (Sind Degase) and the fire department (SOS Firemen). .
