Project takes free technical support to small orange producers; review report In October 2022, Globo Rural aired a report on small orange producers who are transforming their farms based on a free technical assistance initiative. The “Fruta Resiliente” project, managed by the NGO Solidaridad, is financed by large juice industries, with the aim of keeping these farmers in business (see below on how to participate). The initiative takes place in the Citrus Belt, in São Paulo and Minas Gerais. Almost 80% of citrus growers in the region manage small properties.
