Financing line is open to participants of the XVIII Worker’s Party and IV Honey Fair
Manaus (AM) – The Government of the State of Amazonas, through the Promotion Agency of the State of Amazonas (Afeam), is providing rural credit to producers participating in the XVIII Worker’s Party and IV Honey Fair, open on Tuesday (3) until this Friday (6), in Boa Vista dos Ramos (271 kilometers from Manaus).
The events, already traditional in the city, move the municipal economy, bringing visitors to Princesinha do Ramos, where local producers have the chance to publicize and offer their products to consumers and traders. The action is being carried out in partnership with the Institute of Agricultural and Forestry Development of the State of Amazonas (Idam).
Idam technicians provide technical assistance to rural producers, who, through Afeam, have exclusive lines of credit, through the +Afeam Agro Program, which is aimed at family farmers, rural producers, fishermen, extractivists, associations, cooperatives, agro-industries and rural companies that carry out activities in the primary sector.
The State Government’s investments in Boa Vista do Ramos, through Afeam, total 91 credit operations and more than R$ 900 thousand reais, this year alone. The resources are for funding and investment, such as the purchase of machinery, equipment, renovations and construction, for example.
Partners
Credit actions for financial support to the customer are essential for the sustainability of family farming in the interior of the state. In addition to the credit offer, the rural producer has the technical assistance and follow-up necessary for the development of his activities, based on partnerships that facilitate access to the Agency’s financing lines. Afeam has an extensive list of technical partners.
