Preta Gil reports the discovery of betrayal and breakup during the fight against cancer: “Deep pain”

The singer told about the end with Rodrigo Godoy after discovering her husband’s infidelity

Preta Gil was on “Mais Você”, this Tuesday (6), with Ana Maria, to talk about the treatment she is undergoing against bowel cancer. The singer also told about the breakup with Rodrigo Godoy during the fight against the disease.

Preta recalled that the marriage was not going well even before she found out about the cancer and, when she found out, she did not receive the support she needed.

“When we get married, we don’t imagine that in such a difficult moment we will feel helpless. When we find ourselves in such a vulnerable and sad situation, do we think that this is the moment?”,

she reported.

“I was already dissatisfied with some things. With the diagnosis, I was still feeling dissatisfied with what we were living as a couple. So I thought, ‘I don’t need to heal to separate“, he completed.

Gilberto Gil’s daughter, then, said that, despite suffering, she decided to put an end to the marriage: “It was one of the deepest pains I’ve ever felt in my life. First, because there was a lot of love. I deposited this place of care in him a lot, of taking care of me.”
