Presenter Kaká Schwartzmann searches for rock bands in Manaus

Manaus (AM) – Journalist and presenter from São Paulo Kaká Schwartzmann is in Manaus looking for rock bands that have original work or at least cover “responsa”. Kaká will remain in the city for ten days, then he will embark for Belém do Pará, where he will continue the “Tour Rock Brasil” project, an ambitious idea that aims to discover new faces in the Brazilian music scene and even enter the Guinness Book after all. , not just anyone can interview 1,000 rock bands across the country.

In Manaus, Kaká has already interviewed the bands “Os Acossados”, “Capim na Palheta”, “Zona Tribal”, “Loucross” among others. “My goal is to leave here with at least 15 bands interviewed. On the road with his recording and editing equipment, Kaká Schwartzamann has already passed through Rio Grande do Sul, Paraná, São Paulo, which is his base, Minas Gerais, among others. In Amazonas, she came in search of “jungle rock”, to find out what is produced in the North of Brazil.

“Manaus, Belém and other cities in the North are so far from large centers like São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro and my role is to bring these regions closer”,

National TV and Cable TV

Kaká is a member of CrashTV, which was a national TV program and is now on YouTube. At the time, Schwartzamann was a presenter. Currently, she plays the same role as presenter on Music Box Brazil on cable TV. She also makes a special appearance in the fourth “Kaká pelo Mundo” on Kiss FM in São Paulo.

In his portfolio, Kaká has interviewed everything from emerging bands to established names such as Paulo Ricardo (ex-RPM), Clemente from the seminal Brazilian punk band “Inocentes” to legendary figures such as the unforgettable Kid Vinil. He also interviewed international bands such as Deep Purple, Man At Work, Credence, Spy vs Spy, Mark Ramone, among others.

Kaká Schwartzamann remembers the beginning of his career well. “I started as a presenter in Santa Catarina, where I lived, then I decided to go to my hometown, São Paulo, and from there I created a wide network with well-known names on the Brazilian scene such as: Regis Tadeu, Clemente, Marcelo Pompeu (lead singer of Korzus), Paul Martins from Kiss FM, Daniel Geber, president of the São Paulo Rock Association, Mário Testoni, Bruno Veloso and Pepe Bueno who are strong producers on the Brazilian scene”, he detailed. With the scene reorganizing after the pandemic, Kaká received invitations to return to open TV and radio. “We’re talking,” she blurted out.

Piano, harmonica and martial arts

Interestingly, Kaká Schwartzamann is a descendant of the Schwartzamann family. Of Jewish origin, the Schwartzamanns produced the best pianos manufactured in Brazil. As expected, Kaká plays the piano, but she is passionate about the harmonica, her companion instrument.

She started as a flight attendant, but left aviation to dedicate herself to what she enjoys most, which is interviewing. Passionate about rock, she dove head first into this universe. She is also a martial arts fighter, facts that in themselves attract attention. “I have this thing of being an aviator, an artist and a fighter, which is why I never gave up on my dreams and I always advise everyone to fly in their dreams, fight for them and never hide their true talent”, she pointed out.

Kaká Schwartzamann will stay in Manaus until January 10th. Bands that want to get in touch to record, Kaká informs that a technical fee is charged to cover expenses on the “road”.
