Poco launched this Monday (6) the X5 line of smartphones. The Chinese brand, a former subsidiary of Xiaomi, is known for “mid-range” devices, more expensive than the entry-level ones and cheaper than the top of the line.
The line comprises the Poco X5 and Poco X5 Pro models. Both have Amoled screen, high contrast, and refresh rate of 120 Hz, as in the recently announced Samsung Galaxy S23.
The Poco X5 starts at US$249 (R$1,287) and the Poco X5 Pro, US$299 (R$1,545). The products have not yet been officially launched in Brazil, but they are available, with shipping, on the AliExpress website.
The two products in the line have NFC connectivity – which allows, for example, to use your cell phone to pay by approximation – and are compatible with 5G. The basic versions of the Poco X5 have 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
The main differences between the two phones are the camera and the processor. While the main lens of the Poco X5 has a resolution of 48 MP, that of the Poco X5 Pro has 108 MP.
The simplest model runs on the Snapdragon 695 processor. The most expensive, on the Snapdragon 778G, which offers better performance. The X5 Pro even comes with a 65W turbo charger.
