PIS 2023 Consultation: March batch will be paid on the 15th – 03/07/2023 – Market

Workers entitled to PIS base year 2021 born in March or April will be able to withdraw the salary bonus from the 15th of this month. Those who were born in January or February already have the money released in their Caixa or Caixa Tem account.

The payment calendar follows the month of birth of the worker. The amount will be available for withdrawal until December 28th of this year.

To be entitled to the allowance, private company workers must have been registered with the PIS for at least five years and have worked for at least 30 days in 2021, the base year of this calendar, with an average monthly remuneration of up to two minimum wages. The professional’s data must be correctly informed by the employer in the Rais (Annual List of Social Information).

Federal, state and municipal civil servants and employees of public companies and mixed-capital companies who meet the requirements receive the Pasep. In this case, payment is made by Banco do Brasil.

Banco do Brasil account holders and savers will receive the credit in a checking or savings account. For others, withdrawals must be made at the cash desk at any Banco do Brasil branch.

The amount that each beneficiary has to receive is proportional to the number of months formally worked in the reference year.

Each month worked is equivalent to 1/12 of the minimum wage in force on the payment date, and the period equal to or greater than 15 days will count as a full month.

The value varies from R$ 109 to R$ 1,302, according to the number of days worked during 2021.

For example, if you worked for three months in 2021, the worker entitled to PIS will receive R$ 327 in allowance this year.
