Manaus (AM) – The sale of Sustainable Management Pirarucu will take place this Friday (23), from 3 pm to 7 pm, at the Organic and Agroecological Products Fair of the Amazonas Sustainable Development Agency (ADS), in the parking lot of Shopping Ponta Negra.
The pirarucu will be marketed by the Association of Rural Producers of Carauari (ASPROC), which is part of the “Taste of the Amazon” brand and is a product of extractive origin, captured in lakes and rivers preserved by indigenous and riverside communities, in addition to being processed in industry with the Federal Sanitary Inspection Seal (SIF). At the fair, ASPROC will sell frozen fish, packaged in accordance with current health regulations.
The pirarucu Gosto da Amazônia is a product that guarantees the conservation of large areas of ecological relevance in the Amazon, in addition to the species that was already at risk of extinction. The brand also values traditional peoples and communities through fair and supportive marketing.
ASPROC is a community-based organization recognized for the development of “Comércio Ribeirinho da Cidadania e Solidário”, a social technology awarded by ODM Brasil for its impact on regional sustainable development and the fair marketing of its products.
In addition to pirarucu, flour produced by agroextractivist producers in the Middle Juruá region, located in the municipality of Carauari, will also be sold. ASPROC products can also be sold through the website: www.loja.asproc.org.br.
